Village Homes is located on the west side of the City of Davis, adjacent to University property and other residential neighborhoods. The directions below are to the commercial cluster which includes Restaurant Fasulo, the VH Management office, and the Plumshire Building. Several walking and bike paths intersect at this location, so it's a good starting point for a self-guided walking or biking tour of Village Homes.

Bicycle directions from downtown Davis or the UC campus

• Starting on the east side of campus or in downtown Davis on 3rd street
• Take North Quad street west
• When you cross California Avenue, take any of the paths which go to the west or northwest
• When you cross LaRue, look for Orchard Road (it is across from the Segundo Commons and Visitor Parking lot 25)
• (If you get lost on campus, can't find Orchard Road, etc., just take any street north and then take Russell going west… you'll get to Village Homes, it just isn't as pleasant as going through campus)
• Take Orchard Road west, it will get smaller and smaller and eventually turn into Orchard Park Drive
• Cross over the 113 freeway on the pedestrian/bike bridge
• Follow the bike path alongside the research fields
• The bike path will eventually run alongside Russell Boulevard
• Cross Russell Boulevard at Portage Bay East (there is a bike crosswalk)
• Turn right into the parking lot (you will see the Village Homes sign)

By car from outside of Davis

• From San Francisco, take Interstate 80 East
• From Sacramento, take Interstate 80 West
• Take the 113 North exit towards Woodland (note that if you are taking the 80 East, you will cross the 113 South several miles earlier)
• Exit on Russell and turn left (west)
• Turn right on Portage Bay East
• Turn right into the parking lot (you will see the Village Homes sign)
